This Privacy Policy explains how TMPST LLC, doing business as “On The Hitlist” ("TMPST LLC," "On The Hitlist," "we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the On The Hitlist website, applications, and services (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information — email address, username, display name, and password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider).
- Profile information — any bio, location, avatar, or links you choose to add.
- Submissions — audio files and related metadata you upload.
- Purchases — subscription and order details. Payment card numbers are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Communications — messages you send us, including support tickets.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data — pages viewed, features used, actions taken, and timestamps.
- Device & log data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and general location inferred from IP.
- Cookies & similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. See Section 5.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
If you sign in through a third-party provider or make a purchase, we may receive limited information from that provider or our payment processor (such as confirmation of your email or payment status).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- Create and manage your account and profile;
- Process submissions and enable review, evaluation, rankings, and selection;
- Process payments, subscriptions, and orders;

- Public profile & submissions — information you choose to make public (such as your username, profile, and submissions entered into community features) may be visible to others.
- Legal & safety — when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of On The Hitlist, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
4. Your Choices and Rights
4.1 Access, Update, Delete
You can access and update most profile information in your account settings, and you can delete your account at any time. On deletion, we remove or de-identify your personal information, except where we must retain it to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements, and except for limited copies in routine backups.
4.2 Regional Rights (GDPR / UK / CCPA and similar)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by applicable law.

4.3 Communications
You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or your settings. We may still send you transactional or account-related messages.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service, and understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality (for example, staying signed in).

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected.

8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under thirteen (13), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen (13). Users between thirteen (13) and seventeen (17) may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, as described in our Terms. If you believe a child under thirteen (13) has provided us personal information, contact privacy@onthehitlist.com and we will delete it.

We are based in the United States, and the Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
